how can i tell if my plant is male early in grow

hi everyone im looking to grow a male plant to pollinate my female candy kush for some seeds.im planning on doing this after my current grow which I have about a month to go anyway is there any where to tell if the plant is male early on like In the seedling or veg stage? thanks bongsmilie

not really, the only hints that u will get from a male plant is that they grow taller and develop faster than females also they flower faster , but to truly know u have to force sex. GL

You can try to tell with pre-flowers, but I'm still not even close to 100% and I've been growing for 5 years. The males do show up quickly once you flip. When I want seeds, I pop 4 seeds (good odds for at least one male) and bring them along with my clones. By 2nd week of flower, you know the males for sure. I trim them way back to just one or two main branches and then pinch off all the large male flowers until I think the ladies are ready. I have strong ventilation in my room and I keep the male at the downwind end. Then you wait for one male flower to open (check every day or you'll be sorry) and then mark one or two buds and use a water paint brush to carefully pollinate. This worked perfectly for me on my last grow. Two buds produced 25-50 seeds and the rest of the bud was sensimilla.

Wait for them to be about a ft tall. Then cut about 2in off the top at a 45 degree angle.
Put cuts into water to prevent stem getting air in inside it and causing embolism.
After you have all your cuts dip them in cloning gel or powder. Or both. Both is recommended.
After that plant them into peat plugs
And give a little water. Look up.cloning videos to get a good idea. @tropicalcannabispatient is spot on tho u can learn how to do anything on youtube.
Even build an LED light

I saw a couple videos of guy doing this without the clones even taking root just stuck into a cube and put into 12/12 it was very interesting the tops went straight into 12/12 and were kept moist and they sexed Il try to find the vid and PM the info to you I'm guna try it
