I find the biggest factor in getting a good amount of gpw is to utilize the light as much as you can.
If you got a light meter it might help a lot.
Sometimes no matter how/where you place your lights, there's always a bit of area where the light is cast and its unused (all depends on your room size too I guess).
I hit pretty close to 1gpw with HPS but i know i can reach there if i use a lot of smaller plants to fill the non-utilized light gaps.

2 oscillating fans blowing back and forth constantly and a large fan blowing fresh air into the room. Lots of mylar also.

That all sounds a little odd. But hey whatever works. I'll give it a try!

On a serious note, them guys that wrote the book "3 a light" they do an almost 100% defoliation 1 week before flower then again 21 days in. So there is some truth to what you say haha.

I know you were fuckin around. But the 3 a light thing.......they have videos that show the day by day all sped up and you can see them go to town and defoliate them to what I would consider death. Kinda crazy.

Never tried when they were growing. Once I had an ounce that got too dry so I busted a load in the bag and shook it like shake and bake. Not only did it re - hydrate the buds....shit was the sticky icky after words. Got top dollar for it!

Oh my god...this reminds me...one time I was browsing instagram and saw this crazy hippie chick with shitty looking plants that used her fucking MENSTRUAL blood claiming it forced the plants to be female.

After puking in the toilet for 30 minutes I blocked her.
