I was an alcoholic for 10 years and the last few years i was drinking at least a bottle of vodka a day from morning til night, i starting smoking weed with a mate and after a few months of smoking weed i turned my back on alcohol and have not been drunk in over a year, weed changed how i thought about things and how i see things, i am calm and in control and see being drunk as being very silly and ill never do that again, however alcohol did not beat me i can have a beer with friends and not feel like i want more or want to get drunk, one or two beers maybe once a week is all i am interested in, cannabis saved my life no doubt i would be dead now if i dident start smoking weed

yeah, that works great.

I lost 40 pounds in four months too.

If you grow it yourself, you can save some chee$e too: beer habit = $7-$20/day; homegrown = $1000 equipment up front (amortized over three years; $333/yr = about $1 per day) PLUS seeds ($200/six months for me = $1/day) PLUS grow room electricity ($1/day) PLUS soil, containers, molasses, nutes, gas, oil, tires = $365 / yr. ($1/day) ... that makes $4 per day for homegrown habit (Note: it is good quality herb I have here too)

Quitting beer for homegrown is likely to save you $1000 - $2000 / year too.

I wasn't an alcoholic either, but I was pretty depressive, and kinda manic. Since I started toking, contrary to what most say, it didn't have a bad effect on me, but made me calmer as a person. Also helped cure my social arrogance. :D
