i didnt say it was a complete waste of time. i straight up said the shit looks good. BUT if they had been under hps they would be A LOT BETTER! thats all! dont get your panties in a bunch now. CFL is great for veg growth, HPS has the red spectrum required for bud development. for an experienced grower i would think you would already know that shit. for a serious grower cfls ARE a waste of time. why would you want to spend time and money on a grow that puts out an oz per plant when you could have 3 or 4?? especially since your cfl pictures show how much S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G goes on under clf. my very first grow was under cfls and i got so much shit for it on here i switched over to HPS and now i know why people gave me so much shit. obviously you should know the difference.. so its not complete bullshit. its actually true. CFLS SUCK! i do know what im talking about, your defending a stupid point and im not even sure what it is sooo.. yea. good luck with the crappy lights. if your cfl/hps crop is not finished yet, when it is done you will sit back and say... WOW!!!

The so called S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G is down to them both being sativa dominant, the hood was raised only when needed (when the top of the plant said so)

And im not getting my panties in a bunch, just dont like it when i see people say CFL's are no good, when i have done well with them, afterall 90% of people on here are just growing for themselfs, i didn't think he was a serious grower for profit is all

I just have to chime in on this...for growing pot CFL's SUCK.

They aren't completely worthless, they just suck. My Corvette hauls ass and my truck sucks, but when my vette's in the shop or I don't feel like dealing with all of the driveways and dirt roads, I get in the truck that sucks.

I just finished a one plant trash-can sneaky grow in a trash can with some Bubba Kush. I vegged it for 4 weeks and flowered 8 and I got about 3/4oz out of it. That's just one CFL and not a lot of effort.

I only used one CFL with a reflector and in 3 months I got 3/4oz from a tiny little setup with no fans so no noise. It was completely discrete and didn't cause me any worry or anxiety. So it was a free 3/4oz the way I see it and I wouldn't leave 3/4oz sitting on the table and say "fuck that 3/4oz".

On the flip side I'm growing 10 OG Kush plants right now under 2 400w lights and it's a world of difference. But this has been a relative PITA. I live in an apartment and it's hard to hide this big ass grow, but the trash can was easy.

All depends on what you are looking for and I've found that people that use CFL's well can do a pretty good job at it and with a little effort you can get some bud out of it without having to deal with alot of the problems a big ass grow causes (odor, heat, etc.)

Just my .02, but I love this discussion and I'm high.

I think i'm gonna harvest on Thursday. I can't really tell if the trichs are cloudy I know they aren't amber. I haven't fedd them coming on 4 weeks now as I extended the grow time but I don't wanna miss out. What do you guys think I should do?

Cut it down, dry it, cure it and smoke it. I'd be willing to bet you'll be more than satisfied with your smoke my friend. Congrats.
