I have three headband plants in a built growroom in my garage, when the lights are off during the day it's been getting down to 50 degrees, today it got down to 47. my garage is heated but the grow room gets cold with the lights off, with the lights on it's around 70. is my yield gonna decrease cuz they are too cold, they have been in the 50s with the light off since I started flowering 45 days agoIMAG0232.jpg IMAG0251.jpg IMAG0236.jpg

The pics look yellow cuz of the hps light, the leaves look healthy as hell, but I feel I haven't seen them bulk up, I think headband has a 60-70 day flowering time

Being in the 50's or even the 40's shouldn't be any problem. Cannabis can survive "Light Frost" conditions occasionally.
@Gingergrow just remember at those temps it will slow growth and bud development a good bit to the point of adding a few weeks to your grow. Or get a small heater with a built in thermostat on it to keep it at 68 during lights off.

once temps fall out of wack

the plants fall dormant as soil activity falls

you can expect to see the leaf tips going red as sap builds up stalls

water activity slows with a chance of mold or fungi getting in too

it may well be worth having a small oil type heater on a timer

much to your advantage

in order to keep yields up and harvest on time

good luck

my grow room temperatures have dropped to 50 degrees this year because of a furnace failure and it took a week longer to mature but yield and quality were good. you should put a small heater in there but I think they will be fine

Paint some jugs black and fill with water or paint some brick black. It will warm during lights on and release heat at night.

If you cant get temps to ideal then insulate the pots and try to keep them warm .

How fast they warm back up is an issue too. The faster the better.

Careful growing in an outbuilding.. It's easier to detect and illegal to do still in Colorado even though it's legalized...80 is a bit high for day even so you don't want night temps at eighty like the guy above me suggests best case scenario is 60-65 at night 75 during the day

Yeah, you'll loose yield!!!.....Mostly in the form of density...everyone else on heating the area is correct. I like V's radiant heater vs a fan over hot coils.....An old Pelonis ceramic disk heater with fan is ok and very effective....

I ended up putting a can't in my growroom with a heater outside the room, with my exhaust fan on and my lights off and the heater on it's stays at 57-60 degrees now, 68-70 with the lights on, the shirt part is they been cold since day one, so I'm hoping they we're just used to the cold, I hope it's not too late and I can still get a good yield
