How cold is too cold??

Ok it hasnt warmed up too much as of yet. about 8c at nights and about 18-22c during the day. How cold is too cold?? are my plants gonna survive with weather like this?? Imn in Eastern Ontario.

they should but they flourish better at warmer temps.

MI temps have been real cool too... Lucky to hit 8 celsius at night. Like 40 Fahrenheit on avg right now...

- I haven't put plants out yet kinda afraid of a frost to hit seedlings, but I have to put beans in the dirt, I think if you have some mature plants that have been indoors you could prolly start putting them for a day at a time, and let them get used to the cold, this will toughen them up so they don't get shock from cold. Pray for warm weather =] peace

When it frosts it will hurt your plants but they can live down to 34 dgre. F ... at that point i doubt they will grow much

Plants wont grow in weather below 5*C but they aren't harmed until the frost hits them so your fine that way. It'll warm up soon enough and they'll take off but until then they'll be perfectly fine outside.
