How come dispensaries are only shut down or busted in CA

long story short, I have been doing research on opening a dispensary, not in CA or CO but in a state that hasn't even passed a bill yet (but i strongly believe will have one passed within the next year or 2).

so in my research of the laws and problems people are having i have noticed that the only dispensaries being raided and shut down are in CA.

i found a few being closed elsewhere because they didn't have a permit from the city, but that no big deal. they were idiots for thinking they would be able to stay open without the proper permits.

so can someone tell me why the federal government only targets CA, or at least targets CA 95% of the time?

has the MMj culture brainwashed CA entrepreneurs into thinking that weed is OK everywhere and that the laws are just suggestions?

just wondering.....why are there 100 dispensaries raided in CA to every 1 anywhere else.

There was a bust this week in Northridge California.....

They found 9 kilos of cocaine, weapons, etc. They were using the dispensary as a front to sell drugs in the midwest.

I go to a couple in SmelLA that are original and they don't have any problems and really do the business.

If you keep it straight, most don't get hassled.

Every bust i am aware of, has either been based on licensing issues, illegal activity outside the realm of MMJ, or FEDs nosing around.

I am a medical patient from spokane washington. as of about a half a year ago spokane had over 60 dispensaries. the dea came in and shut every single one of them down, none of them openeing back up. you bitch about a few closing, i moved here for the opportunity to sample all the dispensaries and now they are all closed, leaving the responsibility to us on the street. california has no idea what its like to go without anymore.

Michigan has had a lot closing. And there may be morons on the Michigan thread, but at least they're not intentionally being assholes, eh Tony?
