I used to have some trouble with it because I pinned mine down very close to the ground with coat hanger wire. You just have to do it carefully and slowly. Especially so when there's feed in the water.
yeah, because there is feed in the water. that's what i find difficult. how not to spill all that salty water over the leaves. and that's exactly what came to mind.. maybe to use some sort of oil funnel, some sort of thin hose
Easy way to water with scrogged and mainlined plants. Get a big funnel. Was mentioned earlier. Those ones for Xmas tree stands are perfect. Get 2x 2 liter bottles for each pot. Set bottle upright. Put pinholes from top to bottom in a vertical line on one side. On the opposite side cut a hole big enough for the funnel pipe. Lay one on each side of your stalk pinhole side down. Now when you need to water you just stick the pipe through the canopy into the hole and fill up the bottle (keep lid on it) You're shooting for a drip feed. Watering is now easy.
Like, I can see getting around a scrog being hard, but only if you make it hard on yourself. You should always allow yourself easy access to your plant. It shouldn't take an attack plan/OpOrd to figure out how you're going to water the thing you're growing.
