C cannireal Active Member Sep 2, 2008 #1 My new grow room is right next to the HVAC system for the building. The main exhaust duct is right there, so I plan to connect my exhaust fans to the ducts. Is there another way I should do it? Can I utilize the HVAC system to help ventilate?

normlpothead Well-Known Member Sep 2, 2008 #2 You can cut a hole right before wher you replace the filter, that's before the fan in the central unit... But the circulation of return air from the house will be compromised.
