Its rumored that more blue spectrum light, a tiny bit more nitrogen and i think, cooler temps are 'supposed' to help promote the likelihood of getting a female..
But ive yet to see real evidence..

The way i see it is its luck of the draw...50/50
My plants all have the same condtions, sometimes i get fems, sometimes i dont.

There's a thread about the sex predisposition of seeds...def worth checking out.

Yeah its pretty much a toss up, with perfect conditions it encourages females, and will decrees the likely hood of a plant going hermie. So thats always good.

I'm pretty sure its predetermined, i.e your seeds are either male or female from the outset. I think using a female thats hermied to pollinate a female produces feminised seeds...maybe...i think...

Otherwise environment is just gonna change female to hermie...i think.

????
You mean how do you supply extra nitrogen??
Use sulphate of ammonia or look for an organic way of supplying it.

BEWARE it is very easy to OVERDO nitrogen..and that can be bad.
