This is a question about how i can change my tap waters PH with stuff just laying around anyones house, i dont wanna have to buy that PH UP and DOWN stuff either...
the PH of my tap water is around 7-7.2, and im trying to lower the PH close to 5.8-6.0
using limes, lemons, sweet lemons or orange juice (fresh from the trees) i have all these trees in my yard and they are in fruit so this is probably what ill be using to lower the PH
ALSO i dont have my own PH reader but i can go to my local hydro store and they test it for me, yes i no there cheap and i should really get 1 i no...
anyways anyone have any experience with using acidic fruits to lower the ph??
i am using a 1gallon water container and this is the water im giving to my plants when im not feeding them,(no additives, maybe some molasses and liquid kelp to feed microbes)
my main question is, around how much juice would i add per gallon of water, in tablespoons/teaspoons but preferably by weight (i rather go by weight with a digi scale)
it doesnt have to be exact amount just a good estimate
