fireskar New Member Jun 28, 2014 #1 Hey, was just wondering if someone could tell me how to make compost tea of my own.
Abiqua Well-Known Member Jun 29, 2014 #2 Opinions are like ......compost tea recipes...everyone has one! http://rollitup.org/t/total-noob-using-teas-and-i-am-a-believer.676040/ But the basics would be something like: Light proof container [doesn't have to air tight] Air Pump [sized to the container] Airstone [or even just the end of a hose] [to make bubbles] Compost [and whatever goodies to throw in: molasses, kelp, fish oil etc. etc etc etc Add water without chlorine [let it sit, collect it, etc.] Add compost [I use just a couple of tablespoons in my 32 OZ container, a little goes a long way] Bubble for 36-48 hours.
