How do i make hash from my trimmings?

i know im a little ahead of myself here as its my first grow and my babies have only just broken the surface. but the welll known saying '' knowledge is power'' is something i live by. I love reading and gaining knowledge.

so what im asking for is a small step by step guide on how to make hash.???
if its too in depth dont worry just say so and i will look it up but i have seen a few different ways to do it. is there a simple way that is not too time consumming. im sure all the noobs will love a thread on this.:lol::lol::lol::mrgreen::mrgreen:

depends on what type you want to make. Bubble hash requires a bag with a screen printing screen bottom, keefing can be done in a box with a screen, and finger hash is just the guk that builds up on your hands and tools when you are trimming.

thanks serapis your a legend i typed it into the search engine on riu and just found pages upon pages but nothing came straight up with making hash. would have took for ever too go through but now i know that handy lil hint i will be using it thanks. so serapis what you growing at the minute? and any tips on good medical strains i suffer from severe depression and it has destroyed my life smoking really takes the edge off and helps me relax hence why i started growing. the price of the stuff here in the uk has rocketed and the dickhead dealers are giving you less than a gram for £10 and its rare you get anything good either way.

For future reference, if you use the "advanced search" function you can make it so you just search the titles of threads, therefore resulting in much better results of what you are looking for. Subcool has a newer video on how he makes his bubble, very good video with lots of good ideas.

You are going to want something with a cerebral high that motivates, and stimulates. I'm fairly new to cannabis as a medicine. You ask a good question. We have several care givers that post, hopefully one of them will come along your post and have a good answer. Basically, sativas will be to your liking, but there are some blends that offer smooth, great tasting indica genetics with sativa like uppity highs.

Not the right way but an easy way:

Take trim/old bud and grind up:


Mix with high proof alcohol (~90% or 180 proof). Mix it around nice and good for 15 min and then filter:



After letting it settle I syphon of the top for hash oil and the bottom for hash (I don't press mine). Let all alcohol evaporate off:
