How do I make my grow room quiet?

Hi all,

My grow-tent is making a little noise and I'm not sure if my neighbours can hear the vibrations through the floor or not.

Any ideas on what to put under my grow tent in my room to get rid of the noise?

I have a cover surrounding the filter, it came with the kit.

Isolate the blower from any surface. So people suspended it within a frame with bungie cords holding it.

Insulated duct. They sell sound insulated duct but I've read that there's no much difference between it and the regular insulated.

The tent frame would be the another area to where vibrations are carried to the floor. Buy a big pack of the foam squares used for children on a hard floor. The pads that look like huge square puzzle pieces in different colors. Other options are the Army sleeping bag pads. It's a 1/4" of closed cell foam. It works ok as a single layer.

White noise. Stick a radio inside the tent or right outside it. Cover the mechanical noise with music.

If you mean the white foam on the filter thats not a silencer a silencer is an add on after the fan.

It would help if you gave details on your setup. Some have external fan housings with ducting. I suspect that since its a "kit", everything is contained within the tent. There's an earlier topic about noise and neighbors you might want to check out.
