how do I pick the best moms?

got 7 plants... 3 of which are growing absurdly fast with lots of very tight nodes. Do the fastest growing plants typically make the best moms?

Fast growing tight noded plants I think would be ideal for chopping clones, plant recovery, as well as fast clone maturation...

however, all 7 plants look very healthy though... so Im just curious what are characteristics that you guys look for in picking the best moms?

what about THC content or bud quality? All my plants are Super Lemon Haze... is there typically a lot of variation in THC concentration from plants of the same strain?

I would take clones of all 7 plants and then after harvest/dry/cure choose the best with best overall combination of taste/potency/flowertime/yield/cloning/..... so what I am saying is you need to see the final product and decide what YOU want. Some will finish quicker, some will yield more and some will taste better but finding the overall combination of what best suits your needs is the way to go IMO. It may take a little longer and you may have to keep a few more plants around at first but it should be worth it to find a good mom. Good luck with your grow.
