I plan on growing around 50 plants in 5 different plots. Ten plants per site.
I live in south east Michigan and have around 30 wooded acres to grow on. The terrain varies from heavily wooded and hilly to swampy pit like areas where water pools collect in the spring and fall.
Q: How should i arrange my plants and how should i prepare the soil? I plan on using Botanicare pure blend pro grow and bloom as well as aqua shield for veg and liquid karma as a floral spray.
Q: There’s a lot of clay in the soil and the wooded areas are heavily shaded in some areas. Other than trimming huge areas of canopy is there any way to grow in shade? How can i irrigate the clay soil?

Clay soil is no good, you'll have to make your own and carry it to your plots. People have success using MG moisture control for outdoor growing, and it's pretty cheap. Also Roots soil is good if you add in a few supplements like bloodmeal, bat guano, etc. Im sure you can find an easy recipe on google.

Haven't used those nutes for prepping soil outside before.

Clay soil is terrifically difficult to grow in, no matter what you're growing. You need to keep it wet, but not too wet.

Most indoor growers prepare the growing medium using commercial potting mixes. These mixes are usually sterilized or pasteurized and have good general soil properties. Since they seldom list the contents, nutrients, or pH, do some simple test of your basic soil whether you buy or dig for it. Then you can adjust the soil to meet the basic requirements of the plant.

While you might do that inside, outside, I think the soil is probably already prepared since it's already growing things, right?

I know that outdoor growers use things like Heavy Harvest from Advanced Nutrients, but I can't speak from experience.

Looks like there are Spring, Summer, and Fall formulas....

I stick to indoors, less tempermental, though harder to hide, of course....

U spelled prepair wrong in the title but prepare right in the message.

Not trying to cause any harm. Really high and noticed. only reason i opened it. felt like i should share...sorry
