how do i raise the humidity in my grow room

how do i raise the humidity in my grow room its 35% and im using soil with 600 hps i germanated my seeds 3 have broke soil i mist my room with water to raise it but it just drops again within an hour any ideas what to do

No need to stress over 35% RH your good be happy

you could have a bucket of water with a towel or piece of cloth as a wick and have an oscilating fan blowing at the bucket

or


you could hang damp towels up around your room but these will need re-wetting every few hours


my concern for you is not the RH you are experiencing but the fact you are using a 600w on seedlings .

i personally use
24w T5 6400k for 10days
200w ECO CFL for 10-15days
then under my 600w

i am a great believer in taking care of them with more gentle lights during the earlier stages rather than risking excessive heat.

if you use CFL's to begin with your RH would be higher due to less heat output than with HID lighting ..

which leads me to a Q for you ..Are you ventilating your grow room and what are your temps?

my friend has a cfl 200w that im going to get tonight at the minute i have a cold intake blowing on my ballast thats coming from my bathroom, an extraction fan to get rid of air which is unplugged and a osolating fan blowing up towards 600w which is about 5ft away from top of pots. my temp is 34c and night time is as 20c 3 out of ten seeds have broken soil since 5pm last night when i planted i gave them 400ml water yesterday and have gave them the same the day.. should i do anything differnt
