How do i safely mount my remote drivers?

Thanks again for the advice. I know they get super hot and I have no interest in trial and error when fire is a possibility. I figured somebody had some experience and you guys helped a ton.

I like the washers on wood idea

Some heat will transfer, but if it's like 1/4-1/2" should be fine

If you have a scrap yard close by you could probaly find a chunk of aluminum plate. It may not work as well as a fancy extruded heatsink....but it would definitly help and be a fraction the cost.
