Can I ask why T5's and not CFL or HID?Hi, I'm a first timer indoor. Just finished my first outdoor. I was wondering how I set up an indoor grow using flourescent T5 lights???
Hi, that's actually why I started this thread. I dint know which is best or what to do?? I welcome any suggestions to doing it the best way.Can I ask why T5's and not CFL or HID?
aaaah a greenhouse is slightly different and to be fair I have no experience with the glasshouse apart from borstal!I'm doing a 20x20 greenhouse. I don't know what cfl is? I don't know the different ways u can use, I'm just starting. Literally lol.
Won't you have like a massive alien ship in the garden with lights in a greenhouse? Them big growers in York near me have glass that stops light from leaking out... HID all the way baby and the more the merrier! Can I ask why my friend?? What about HID??
Its hot, expensive and ideally you want the Halide in veg and the sodium in flower so 20 x 20 say 8 600w lamps with ballasts and reflectors tis a large investmentReally, wow. I was leaning towards it. If HID its the best way , why doesn't everyone use it?? Is it more expensive to run?? What do u suggest switching to during flower?
Thanks for your input , the pic wasn't mine. I use diamond mylar. No glare to worry about.HID is expensive, and heat is a problem. If your intentions are just personal use, t5 is the way to go. I notice the tin foil. Just FYI, flat white paint is way better if possible, or Mylar.
