how do i store unused seeds?

what up everybody from the westside of Cleveland (no hostages in my house!!!)lol!! what would be the proper way to store my unused seeds? I have heard refrigerating is good but I don't want to ruin them i ordered from attitude seed bank and i got them in a crush proof tin so i dont know if they will still be in manufacturers original packaging if that really matters (haven't received order yet) any feedback will be very appreciated STAY HIGH everybody much respect

Usually I keep my seeds in a dark dvd case till I get ready to use them. Not sure the accuracy behind this, but I believe as long as you keep them in a dark place they should stay good. I still have seeds from several years ago that are still usable to this day. Mostly the ones from years ago are just bagseed, but they still germinate every time. So, just put them in a dark dvd case and put them somewhere safe and you should be good.

No problem. I have actually received seeds in a dvd case before and just kept them there and started using it ever since. I also have seeds sitting in the bottom of my grinder that I keep into a drawer.

too funny the seeds I have now(bagseed)are in the bottom of my grinder lol! I have heard that some seed companies send them in dvd cases like greenhouse seed co.that's a good stealthy way to ship.i also ordered a t-shirt with the seeds to make it look more legit,plus that guarantees my order if it doesn't show.this is my first time ordering seeds I have had good grows with bagseed and some white widow clones I just wanted to try some of the strains I have been drooling over for years.stay high!

I understand completely. I have some autos coming, except for 2. One was free and the other is a auto. I had to order a reg feminized aurora indica, that is some good strong smoke. I order from a single seed company so I can mix and match. I got like 5 different strains and 7 seeds for about 50 usd.

we think alike im only going to order from one place and almost all the strains I have coming are auto's too all fems like white widow,blue cheese,and fruit from dinafem also yumboldt from cbd seeds and think different from dutch passion I got some good regular photoperiod freebies like cotton candy from delicious seeds and a few from t.h.seeds like sage n' sour,akorn(snowbud) and underdawg that should keep me busy for awhile lol! I did the mix and match and it came to $70usd.im going to look into the aurora indica cuz I love me some indica!!! sounds like a great strain totally worth checking out.if you can give me any tips for growing auto's I would sure appreciate it this is my first time all I know is keep the lights on a veg cycle and don't compact the dirt they're in so any help would be great.it's been good chatting I hope you don't mind I have sent you a friend request.

This is going to be my first time with growing autos myself. I currently have a sage n sour germinating, she is giving me issues taking forever to germ, but I also have a burmese kush that I have going that has already popped. The kush is in dwc while the sage is going to be in soil. I'm currently doing a 12/12 from seed grow, gonna see how it goes. But yea, the autos you can do 24-0 or 20-4 or 18-6. Just preference I guess.
But here are my autos I have coming: Smokey bear from freedom, Anesthesia from pyramid and a white widow from vision.
My reg seeds are: aurora indica and ak49.

The aurora indica was a nice plant to grow, was the very first plant I ever grew and after a good month cure, that shit was bomb. I could take one small hit out of a pipe and be slammed for hours. It yielded pretty well for my first plant also. grew it under cfls, had some mistakes and managed to get around 2.5oz dry. I would highly recommend that strain, which is why I had to get it again. But I've grown many diff strains and am trying to figure out which ones I like the best. I still have a pineapple express I need to grow. Probably will do it next with one of my autos.

But yea, just hit me up if you need anything and I'll try my best to help you. Most problems I have already ran into.

I just looked up aurora indica from nivana seeds and DAMN!!! all I can say is DAMN!!! 20-24% thc I have to get a couple! was yours from nirvana? let me know please.i grow with cfl's as well and have had good luck with them always.im prob gonna do some in dwc and some in soil I like both had great results with dwc.i have two bagseed plants growing currently and I vegged them only two weeks then 12/12 they were starting to bud nice and now one of them stopped budding and started re-vegging and is sprouting out these one finger leaves everywhere. its not male i guess just a stressed out strain.have you ever heard of this happening to a plant? I will take some pics cuz it's really fuckin weird lookin' the one finger leaves aren't even jagged they're round they look like tea leaves.my mom is an old hippy and she didn't even recognize it as a pot plant when I showed it to her.good luck with the upcoming grow and if anything I can help you with don't hesitate to ask.btw,how do you germinate your seeds? I put mine in water in a container light can't penetrate and place them on a warm spot like the back of an old tube tv and leave it on for a few days my heating pad low setting is just too hot I've had a good female ratio by germinating this way or maybe just luck LOL!!!

I really couldn't tell you much about what your plant is doing without seeing it, but it sounds like a mutated plant. It happens. Kinda rare, but it happens. I usually germinate my seeds the same way, dark cup in a dark warm space like a closet. However, the sage n sour didn't want to pop that way, so I had taken her out and used the paper towel method. The shell cracked within half a day. My seeds usually germinate and are ready to be planted within 3 days.

I no longer use cfls to grow, I upgraded to a 400w hps. I'm pretty psyched about this grow because I have my temps all dialed in at a steady 79.5 F and 45% humidity, perfect growing temps and humidity. I don't have anything against nutes, but I never use them. My average weight now per plant is around 6oz dry. Pretty decent, and I cant complain. Maybe I'll use the foxfarm nutes I have laying around collecting dust, not sure yet. If I do, it will only be during flower, I have some big bloom.

El gringo- I too actually have about 2 plants that shoot out nothing but single bladed leaves... I think this was due to the fact I started 12/12 from seed just so I could sex my plants sooner and not waste time with any males. (mind u all I grow is bag seed just to see how well I can transform dirt to dispensary) and it is a genetic mutation but it's one that doesn't affect your plants yield, just the looks
