I've just been looking at the system online again, and I'm not sure it's a DWC at all. From what I can tell it's just a dripper with clay pebbles and a self contained reservoir at the bottom.

Does it look like the roots could grow down into the nutrient solution? Or does the pot containing the clay pebbles just have drainage holes??

Either way, what you put in your res, nutrients etc, is the same. DWC is just another hydro method.
