There 2x10 and yes I till the soil under about 3 inches or so. It's important to get the grass out before tilling. I put a light sprinkle of dolomite in the native soil before tilling. First I start with compost from my local land fill, about 2 yards per box. Then add 4 bags of super soil (2 cf ) then 2 bags chicken manure (1 cf ) each. 1 cans of blood meal (large coffee cans) 2 cans of vermiculite and till it all together. Water beds daily for about 10 days to 2 weeks to keep starts from nitrogen burn, this is very inportant step, before planting starts stick your hand into beds about 10 inches deep to check heat of soil. Then I water the starts almost daily and feed 2 times per week. Good luck on your grow and treat each year as a learning experience, keep us up to date....:weed:

id definetly leave state to come help for free. it would be legendary. im a bit scared to plant 6 northern lights outdoors in a box on land that isnt mine. do you think heli's would make a stop for say 3 possible females? maybe ill just spread em out.

ok well i put all 7 nl's under lights and 4 have sprouted so far and im about to go take a closer look and give them a good 3 weeks before i put them outside. ill def take some pics later on :D
