I got 5.5 oz 12/12 fs with LEDs in organic soil and big container. The plant was sharing the light too, I bet you that in time I could reach 1/2lbs without vegging my plant (12/12 fs)
Sweet. How tall did they end up after the 2 week stretch?

Shouldn't be concerned with how much weight per plant, but how much weight per light. You can do two 8+oz plants under a 600w hps, or one 16+oz plant, or four 4+oz plants, or 8 2+oz plants...ect ect ect.
I look at yield as weight per square foot. A half pound from, say, four square feet is cake. Every two square feet, not so much.

1/2 pound plant in organic soil is more than possible , after you have done a few grows
but its easyer to grow 2 plants under a 600 and get over 1/2 pound

one plant I will be chopping in 3 weeks should be giving me 8oz's dry

The canopys 3ft across and plants in a 32ltr pot, plant been in flower for 7 weeks

And one light can only cover so much square feet. The conversion between a specific light used and square feet covered by that light is easy to figure out. (this and my other post are not including light movers obviously)

The point is.....

Judging weight per plant is silly.

I live in the uk and judging weight per plant is the best way

I have 2x 600w hps and 4 plant under both lights (flower room), if I get raided, its not to bad
but a sog with 50 plants, I would be eating porage for a long time,

so I need to get the max yeild I can from the least number of plants

PER the futures reply with a comment saying SUPERTHRIVE--- NEVER USE SUPERTHRIVE that goes for anyone. i had a bottle of the stuff and used as directed on more than one plant and the things tanked, superthrive will kill and stunt plants.

I just wanted to complain about the 1 pound per 1000 watt standard. Really, the minimum should be 1 pound. That will be all. =P

I have used Superthrive for a little more than 7 years now, and have had zero negative effects using the product in every stage of plant growth, used in excess of directions on occasion -- On thousands of square feet of Lettuce, Tomatoes, Eggplants, as well as Medical Marijuana. I use a heavily diluted foliar spray and fog for surface application on tomatoes and lettuce, and use heavily diluted in lettuce recirculating systems simply because of cost constraints. When used on MMJ, I use in recirculating systems at the recommended rate, and foliar spray at 1/2 tsp per gallon.

I have experienced increased yields across the board of a minimum of 10%, up to 60% in the case of tomatoes. I stand behind Superthrive, and these are my reasons why. ;)

training, check out the book "secrets of the west cost masters" order it online, lots of good info, and read everything you can, dont just take one persons word as gospel.

I am not out to make money from weed. I grow for myself and my friends/family.
I am out to improve the quality of my weed.

If you focus on better quality, better yields will follow.

I run GH lucas formula for coco, with Floralicious Plus, almost never full strength.
3x3x6.5 tent, 600 watt hps, two plants in 5 gallon superroots airpots, scrog

I usually pull about a pound, variety depending. I could pull near 20 ounces if I grew two blue dreams.
My small 250 watt HPS with 160 cfl watts added area looks like I will pull 8 ounces easily. (Blue Moonshine)

All it takes to get any amount of pot is space, and light.

Its not hard folk, the hardest part is being realistic and doing it. It's fucking easy to get huge yields outside, so look at the space given outdoor plants, then match it. Look at the suns power, now try to match it. Don't fuck around with minimums and try to bairly scratch by with 30 watts/sq ft. Go for 100.

Nothing excels like excess. Nobody is impressed by average. My thread scrog overkill is what I mean if you need it broke down further.

This girl has been vegged and lst trained for 10 weeks (in this picture). Pot is 20 litre (5.2 US gallon). Width of the plant in the picture is just over 3ft all around. She is now at 11 weeks and is now even bushier, and will be getting another 2 weeks veg before I flower her under 600W HPS. My hope is that she will pull the magic 8oz (although I won't be unhappy with 5oz tbh);

I think my chances of the half pound would be greater if I gave her the entire flower tent to herself - but she will have her sister in there with her (who is not quite so big, but still impressive).
