I havent used my tent in about two years and it is disgusting. The outside is covered in mold, dirt and cob webs. I'm not sure if the inside is cleaner or i just cant see the stuff on the reflective surface.

What do you clean a tent with? Soap and water? All purpose cleaner? And is it easier to clean and then Take apart or tear it down and then clean it?

I didnt even think about drying it. Its been raining almost every day for two months. Maybe i can put it on the floor by the dehumidifier. I'll try the soft scrub and probably wash it off with the garden hose. I like the car wash idea but dont want to put the dirty tent in my car. I dont even know if it'll fit. Its big 4' x 8'.

Quite honestly if it is as bad as you described I would chuck it and buy a new one instead of risking if you got all the mold or not. If you for whstever reason refuse to do that, then some javex, sunlight dishsoap, and a scrub brush.
But as poor as I am I would still just buy a new tent.

Cheers :)

After you clean it sterilize with mix 16 ozs of 3% H2o2(drug store strength) and 2Tbs of white vinegar in a really clean spray bottle . Let it sit for 24 hours cap loose then spray it all down.

I can no longer be in the clean it party....
Its gotta go. Gotta get a new one.
Potential liability, that will forever be suspect.
