how do you dry your trimings? (4 hash/baking)

Hey guy's I know how to dry bud, but how do you go abaout drying the clipings for hash or baking? Any help would be awsome! thanks.

lay it all out on a screen and let it dry that way.
just make sure that the screen gets air blowing on top and on the bottom.
or you could place 2 screen together with the clippings in between them and hit them with a fan so the air will pass though it .

if you put it on a screen all your trichs will fall thru. i just spread mine out on a table and let dry for 4 or 5 days.

ya, I was wondering about that. If I was going to make hash it would be ok to use a screen...but i think im gonna make some cannabutter so I dont want any of my thc falling through my screen. So just leave it out...maybe in the sun but inside for a few days right? Thanks fdd and wheelerman.

huh...so not in the sun ehh? I live in a dry climate so moisture wont be a problem. Any one give me a ball park on drying time??? 3 days, 4 days?
right now I have all my trimings in a plastic tuperware container (no top), is that going to work? I figured it was good beacuse the trichs wouldnt be going any where.

it is best to hang your plant upside down, if you keep a large amount of the leaves on will allow for a slower dry, if you trim then dry it will be a little bit less time. what i do is give a decent trim basically just large fan leaves, then i hang dry until stems "snap". Some of the smaller branches with smaller nugs obviously will be done drying earlier than the top colas. After a good "snap" i place in jars about 3/4 full and open twice a day for 5 - 10 minutes. after about a week tighten jar and leave for 5 weeks. it is ok to smoke any time after that first week, but best flavor comes after the full cure
