I'm at about 3 weeks from germ. We get a couple nice days then a couple rainy, my pots never have a chance to dry out. Today I said F-it and gave them their first nutes, then it poured out a few hrs later. WTF! Do I just keep nuteing on a schedule or is it a waste? I try and move them under cover when I can,but I'm not always home. I want to give these nutes a try but I feel like they are just getting washed out and wasted, at least the lawn will get some ferts.

Yes dude, do you think in the wild anybody is giving these plants nutes?? NO. If its getting plenty of rainwater and enuf sunlight then ur plant will do fine. The way to grow the best plants is to replicate its natural environment as close as possible.

Ok,so I guess I really wasn't too clear. There in pots, not in the ground,in Roots Organ., which is is pre nuted for 3-4 weeks or so. I did this last yr and after the first month I noticed a marked decline in growth, once I added some ferts I had laying around they picked up. Figured I try the GH Flora trio my buddy gave me to try and avert the lag in growth. Oh and thanks for the attitude,it's appreciated.

Use some organic ferts.. get some bat guano, chicken scat, or earthworm castings. Throw in some coal ash and coffee grounds and some boiled egg shells. Fuck all those bottled ferts.

alright so feed ur plants while the soils saturated, and overwater stunting growth. if it rains, wait till ur soil dries, then feed. a few days past without a feeding is fine and wont affect overall growth of ur plant

If its been real rainy where I live I usually watch the weather forecast for the last day its supposed to rain then wait till right AFTER its done raining and when the skies clear up then I'll feed them, and hope it doesn't get cloudy again.

I've done organics the past, its all I use in my Veg garden, I wanted to try Chem ferts for a change...if I stay outdoors next yr I'll defiantly go back to it, pretty much set and forget. I just slacked and didn't get my compost done for this yr because up until last month I had no intentions of doing ANY gardening this yr...
