How do you make clone timing work in 1 tent?

So cloning is pretty sweet on a bunch of levels but I have one confusion with it.
You need to clone a vegging plant but veg times in most tent setups are ~1 month and flower is 2-3 months.

So is there a way to clone your plants while only using 1 tent? I was thinking maybe I could clone them, leave them in my tent and just reclone them 2-3 times into the same starter pot, in the flowering tent until I was ready to go.

2 Tents would be sweet but I'm not ready for that commitment :)

I'm not quite sure what your goal is? Just to create more plants from one? Why not just plant more seeds?

Clones don't need much light or space, you can out 15 of em in a 12" x 10" tray under a dome with a lightbulb.

So you're saying you don't have a place to grow clones with one flower tent? Just clear out a closet and there ya go. They don't need a lot of air movement or light so just get a couple of T-5's or smaller LED. It's not ideal but I've been doing it for decades. The closet is 2' x 6', room for T-5s in one area and a clone dome in the corner. The damn clones grow a bit fast and want to flower when there isn't room in the flower room so do some mainlining or training to slow them down. Just what I do, works for me. Also, keep them in the dome longer helps too.

You don't understand the point of cloning?
No. Sorry my previous post wasn't worded properly.

What's the point of cloning with one tent? He's going to veg one plant, take cuttings for clones, grow those out and clone them again. Then flower them all? Seems like an awful bit of effort to fill the tent.

Once he flowers everything is going to flower. So what was the point of cloning, other than to fill the tent?

To be fair, he's not clear on what he wants to get out of cloning in one tent. Does he want to keep the tent in veg, keep cloning off of the plants in there until it's full, then flower with a bunch of different sized plants? Or does he want to set up a perpetual grow, which would necessitate another grow space?

Ok fair. My main goal with cloning is to copy the plants I'm using forever so that I don't need to get re-acquainted with any new phenotypes or strains. There are other benefits though. I'm not just trying to cheap out on seeds.

Some people mentioned I should just make a crappy grow somewhere else with a mother. I get that, but I want to keep it to 1-tent. So I guess it's just not possible, to live the clone life without making a veg space somewhere. Even if I were to have a separate mother grow I would need to top it a lot like people mentioned to keep it small enough when it's vegging for an entire plants flower cycle.

Now that I'm getting into this I realize to keep a growing operation moving smoothly you would need so many different spaces! It's nuts. What crazy hobby I got myself into! Oh boy! :P
A space for vegging lots of plants, a space for flowering fewer plants, and a space for drying.
