i know its the strain..duh! but for example i just harvetsed 4 grape ape plants and there is very little purple. im about to buy some purple erkle clones and i was wondering if there are special techniques for making them turn purple or will they naturally turn purple. Im just looking for some advice from people that have grown purple buds and their techniques.

Thanks:joint:

Most of the purple from the plant comes from its genetics. however; colder temps do induce a more purple hue to the buds. Besides a little colder temperature I'm not sure if there is anything else you can really do.

I know that there is a dye fertalizer color thing that you can feed your plants that is meant for exactly that purpose...turning your plant and buds purple. I am also pretty sure i'ts safe to use as well. I just can't remeber what it's called. I some of the more experinced growers on RIU know what it is.

genetics would be the easiest and also heard that cold temps usually give buds sum purps but i myself didnt see any purps on my bud and temps were getting pretty low when lights out ....and it wasnt just ur normal low temp we're talkin 50-60s ...........:joint:
