How do you stop a flowering beast?!?

theres this 7ft beast growing under a 200w light, surprised it grew. And it is now too tall, how do you get a flowering plant to stop growing vertically? Tieing it down seems like it might work.71B0908E-E1BD-497C-873C-FF7F5AEB0893.jpeg4B3B6842-20FC-44DC-8651-D69C27ACFD45.jpeg

I agree next time top it and lst it ....Usually you can count on a plant getting a little over twice the height when you flip it ....((for future reference))

For now you'll just have to take the top and start bringing it down to the floor ..... Even that won't buy you much time IMO ....that thing looks quite happy and those side branches are guna shoot straight for the roof in no time once you bend it over ......GL

It will probably still stretch some more, but if you ask me, the amount of vertical growing should be minimal from this point on. However, as some have pointed out, topping earlier, tying down (low stress training) would be a big help during the vegetative period. You can also not vegetate the plant for long, going straight to 12/12 from seeds or sprout-ling will help keep the height under control.

Super crop flowering plants

*Negative dif (difference in fahrenheit)

Warmer night temps than day can drastically reduce stretch.

I am assuming your light is 4 feet long but if it is not we will call it X feet long.
Tie a string about one foot from the top of your plant this is point A
4 feet or X feet below the string this is point B
support the plant from the dirt up, tho point B use a cage or something.
Pull your plant over till point A is at the same height as point B
Adjust the plant/light so it all fits under
Prune al the branches that point down
Make weed

you'd fare better with the light on one side of the plant now instead of overhead.
I'd smash the plant up against a wall with some chicken wire/screen
and put the light in front of it like vertical grow.
weave those meristems in and out of the screen and watch the buds grow to the light.
right now you got about a foot of buds that might fill out above the stalk of larf.

Your to far into flower to tie down really... You need to lollipop the heck out of it asap.
What? Nah.

Never too late to tie it down. Tie a rope to the top and pull it over a little each day.

Its not even too far to super crop it.

Tie it over and get more light. Its not a beast because its a beast. Its just stretched bad from lack of light.
