If you properly grow, dry and cure your bud and seal it into mason jars, it will stay for a long time. I have stuff that is almost 2 years old and its still potent as hell
I have never opened one of my jars and found mold. It's all in how you grow, dry and cure. And of course where you store them. Mine are in a dark cool temp controlled place.
