How do you tell if PM is dead

.

Good question junky.

I use Dr Zymes which is a citric acid eliminator. PM is gone when its dissolved and no longer visible.

I'm curious how you'd tell with potassium Bicarbonate.

Gee thanks, lol

So with Dr. Zymes are your leaves left with any scarring?

Potassium Bicarbonate and organic ACV seem to almost make the treated PM 'pop out' more to the eye, so I'm wondering if it's getting worse...or is it dying? Not really seeing spreading to new leaves so I feel it's controlled, but I want it dead, lol and not finding much information as to how to tell

The leaves are fine if you only spray every 2 or 3 days, I had some necrosis on a leaf that I sprayed 3 times in a day.

I did an after harvest bath on a set of plants that had PM and the trichomes were still intact after the PM was dissolved.

Nice! What did you use in the bath?

Nice! What did you use in the bath?

I used 2 ounces of Dr Zymes Eliminator to 1 gallon of warm water. 4 ounces for 2 gallons was all that I needed.

I kept the buds submerged below the water's surface for 15 minutes (in a 5 gallon bucket), then drain the buds in a spegetti strainer and rinse in clean water. Strain again.

I've saved more than one plant with this bath, I keep Dr Zymes on hand just in case. Save a grow.

Awesome! I had not heard of this product until now. Learning a lot from this first grow, thanks to people like you, I really appreciate the advice and info.

Never heard of Dr. Zymes, I'll have to pick up a bottle just in case.

That said once pm is all over a bud I usually cut it and throw it out. I suppose you could clean it up. Not sure how once moldy buds would taste. This year I sprayed my entire patch, my whole yard with the stuff below, every 30 days. I came across it in Home Depot in May. Bought a few bottles. Figured it wouldn't hurt to kill some spores. Here I am 10/01 and the plants are clean. Just to be clear I did not spray this stuff on my plants. Slap it on the end of your hose and BAM.

This is exactly what I need next year. It's these damn lilac trees causing my problem and spreading the spores. Luckily I have been able to control the PM and hasn't reached the flowers, fingers crossed it stays that way for the next two weeks. Don't see any signs under the scope except on leaves
