your probably right, I know how you feel. don't want anything to go wrong this late in the game. if its not spreading a lot, just may be those leaves time since she's getting close to the end of her life cycle. I actually had some leaves looking either mildly nute burned or deficient when I did my rez change today. I backed the nute solution down 0.05 hoping that corrects it. Saw some frosty leaves for the first time and was happy af.:weed:

I have question about topping off the tank. Do you top off with plain water? Or do you top off with water with the same nute mixture as your last fill? I've been doing the later, but I just want to make sure I'm doing it right. She seems happy, but I've gone this far with her and don't want to screw up now. She is drinking about a 1/3 of a gallon a day. So she is getting allot of nutes put in the tank each week between clean and refills.

I have been topping off with ph'd water until my ppms drop to around 600 then I top off with nute solution. I do this because she drinks a lot more water than nutes. My ph stays stable but my ppms seems to rise as the water level drops, so that's the best way I've found to keep her fed without overdoing it. I think with our smaller rezs it's something we have to closely monitor and adjust.

How does she look? I know the pictures suck. I can't seem to get a good magnifier. I got some leaf yellowing going on with the large leaves. I'm wondering if its just running its natural coarse or if she has a problem. Don't know if anyone can tell from these pics if she is close. From what I'm reading yellowing could mean getting close to harvest.

Those are some nice size colas you got there as far as the trichomes in your first picture they still look pretty clear to me. You generally want them cloudy and amber depending on the high you want eg. cloudy for head high amber for body stone or any where between. I'd say about day sixty you might be closer to seeing what you want.

Thanks for the second opinion Newbt. I agree. I'm gonna flush the tank and give her 1 more round of nutes. Then next week I'll clean the tank and just give her strait distilled water and then harvest in the next week. Of coarse as long as she progresses like expected. Sound like a valid plan to you?

Sounds good to me, anything she puts on between now and then will all be a plus, yield wise and quality wise.

Just for my reference. You are going to flush her with only distilled water for a week, correct? I've been wondering about the flushing process. Obviously I have a ways to go but it never hurts to find out how others are doing it nice and early :mrgreen: Thanks!

Yes, distilled just distilled water. Maybe spring water. I haven't decided yet.

Cut a bud that was about 1/3 the size of the biggest one on her. I have to test her out! I did a fast dry, and weighed it. 5 Grams dried! I am shocked.


It smoked really good. Very enjoyable. I cant wait till its really dried and cured properly.

Smoke update:
I don't smoke much. My wife even less, but to quote her" 1 hit I get nice, 2 its time for bed, 3 GONE."

I'll post another update after the full harvest and proper curing.

Well, I hung her up for 5 days. She is dried to perfection I think. I weighed each bud and including 31 grams of popcorn I have a total of 88 grams. The popcorn is really nicely formed little buds not junk. I am very pleased. She is in jars and I'm going to do my best to cure her properly.


I had it wrong on the popcorn. It was 17 grams. The 31 grams was the largest bud from her very top.

Nice yeild!! I can't wait until harvest time for my girl. I think the popcorn bud should definitely be included in the weight I don't know why some people say different. You have any thoughts on making some cannabutter with the trimmings and a few popcorns? My girl is so frosty and smells so good hope to pull a nice yield too.

I haven't decided what I'm going to cook yet. But I'm thinking of using popcorn, bud trimmings and used vape leftovers. I'm leaning toward butter, then brownies with it.

I'd like to cure for at least a couple of weeks. We have been hitting the popcorn while we wait. Yes it was almost dried properly. I did have to re-hang the biggest bud for another day or 2. So my weight might be off a little on the big one. The rest seemed to be dried perfect.
