The longer you can hold it in the more THC you will absorb. Some prefer to hold only a few seconds to avoid getting too much tar in their lungs, it's up to you, but then it will take more hits.

I don't see any difference in taking more short hits or fewer long ones as far as tar goes. You smoke you're going to get tar in your lungs period.

That antler you have most of it being thin, looks like it would be better for mouthpieces rather than bowls, especially since you have so much thin stuff.

I still think you should make a hookah with some of it like this rather than just another pipe:

I always thought of it as anti pharma meds, oregonmeds referring to being oregon legal mmj medical patient but I guess it doesn't sound that way.

No legal in this state, or I'd have considered it for sure. Even state legal patients aren't allowed to transfer marijuana for any form of consideration, even if someone were sufferring to death in pain supposedly the only way to legally help them is free, and even that is risky here or so I hear. There are plenty of wheelchair bound or worse disabled folks in jail across this nation just for giving it to others for free. Some died in jail.

That's a fine pipe! How did you make it if I may ask? I found an old animal bone off the side of the road, a little gross some may think, I like to think otherwise... I put it in hydrogen peroxide to rid of any bacteria that may be in there before I would even consider boiling it. Baking it is a fine idea! This gave me some inspiration to grab the power tools and saw away! Haha
 
Well I too antler and took a saw about 5 or 6 inches from base and sawed it and then sawed an arm off the antler and I boiled to make insides soft and took a drill bit to each end til it met up(it smells kinda bad) and then I put them in bleach water to cleanup a bit then rinsed and baked it on 350 for about 3 mins but if you burn the bone it WILL break an smell horrible so just don't burn it and then took wood glue an put em together and then took my surfboard repair called suncure which is fiberglass and it has built in cloth and I put it in sun for 5 minutes and it cured and ten got a filter from my sink faucet.
