How does one become a mod and what's involved?

Ya have to have thick skin, able to deal with cry babies, long hours with no pay, willing to give up ur first born and grow lots a good erb....lol jk..I have no clue.I did ask rollitup awhile back same thing ;-)

i would never ever want to be a mod, especially around here. the sheer volume of threads, members and shenanigans seems overwhelming. and no matter what you do you're always the bad guy to someone. sounds like hell.

Decide on a forum/subforum(best if not one that already has a bunch of mods already) and message rollitup and offer to mod the section you chose. You have my backing. I think you'd be a good mod. mods watch their areas for things like personal attacks and spam and underage users or offensive posts or people offering to buy or sell anything(fdd can sell his glass because he's been a mod forever and has gotten permission) or etc and also politely remind members of the rules when they cross them and if a member is going to far or just a spam account post let a/the global mods know who can ban people and hard delete threads if they agree its warranted.
