You can shoot for hermies and cover your seed supply for a while now that you've already paid for the genetics. They'll come in handy down the line once you've got all your equipment

I dont understand what you mean...Why should I shoot for hermies just because I bought seeds before my lighting? I dont understand what you tryin to say...

Im in Australia man and thats a US site.. Shipping would be heaps.. Its all good though, I got everything I need now except for the Carbon Filter and the fan but the fan is on its way....

Well, you bought seeds when they exceeded your lighting, ventilation and filtration budget. So if you get hermaphrodites, which is likely in a poor growth environment, you'll have plenty of feminized seeds to supply your future grows with when you've acquired more equipment. i.e. lights, fans, filters etc.

on topic with ona gel...i have a phresh CF AND vortex fan to control odor but i get a wiff every now and again and wonder about guests sometimes. would ona gel control the potential paranoia? i assume i could cap the jar and only use when necessary to extend life and cost effectiveness? the gel is about the cost my wifes candles, but they only mix scents

so how does the filter work....
i have my grow room in my house so how does the carbon filter stop the smells.

Carbon filter's work when paired with an inline fan, the inline fan pulls or pushes air through ducting into the carbon filter where activated charcoal effectively scrubs the air particles that pass through clean. I was a little hesitant at first buying it, but oh man is it worth it, it works wonders.
