How far from canopy?

I have 2 lights I just made that are 5xCXB3070 BB on a Meanwell - 185-1050 driver, and my very first light with 2xCXA3070Z2 and 2xCXB3070AB on individual meanwell 1400 drivers. I just got some bleaching across the center of my plants so I raised the lights. One hermied from the stress so I got rid of it. 2/4 of my other plant have minor yellow bleaching in a line right under where the light was. I do not have any more cash for any meters or tools, but what is a good ballpark distance from canopy?

How far were you when the bleaching happened? I'd say at least 18" but I'm fairly new to this.

it was light bleaching and it was when I was gone with a friend watching them so so not sure when exactly was too much. They were growing real fast the main colas got about a foot away, stuff below that burned also. Now the plants are showing red and purple in the leaves as some fans continue to yellow.

Re-reading my last reply I can see how it could be taken in a different manner than intended, so I was asking if you knew how far you were when the bleaching happened, and then I was recommending at least 18" away from canopy........I wasn't trying to guess ytou were 18" away when they bleached......
