How far should I have my t-5 ?

I have a T5 high output fluorescent fixture. With 40,000 lumens that's 4 ft long and has 8 bulbs. I just put my new seeds ( chernobyl's ) from tga sub cool. I put five in five advanced soil plugs just yesterday and allready today there all sticking out of the each plug !!! Now my question is how close should I put my light?

Doesn't anyone have one of these lights ? And if you do can you tell me how far is good to keep it from the tops of my babys?

I would start 8-10 inches away maybe closer depending on the heat, go by what ur ladies tell u

Start at about a foot, maybe more cause they are young. Just watch them closely. Is it a bad boy fixture?? Most of those types dont really make any heat, my 2 ft T5 HO with agro's makes no heat what so ever.

I use a Feliz T5 250watt 6500k for one of my tray's and its about 3 ft above them.

Yea there looking amazing with the light about 10 inches above there tops.
