How far should i keep my Viparspectra 900w

hey hope someone can help me on this I have 3x3x63" tent that i origianlly had a LED 1000w (not really ebay bought actual volt 110v 2w bulbs)growing bag seeds and I veg'ed them in the tent under that light growth it was slow but happening and within two days after switching this light in my tent with the viparspectra 900w I've seen my girls get so happy and have huge fan leaves now anyway i want to know how close can my light be during flower from the plant . manufacture say's 24"to 32" is ideal for flower and I already have them in veg still at 24" and ready to ScROG as well for the stretch so anybody know if its a bad idea to keep the lights where they are?

something like less than 28 deg C (82F) is good

ok i need to know can my viparspectar 900w be as close as 14inches from the top of the plant and if not why? i have to understand this part i cant find many people wit the right answer to this question
