How Far Will It Smell?

Im doing a completely legal grow in my backyard but I was wondering from how far will I be able to smell 5 flowering plants? Until the ends of my street or what? 1/4 mile?
 
What's funny is some people can have their nose right above it and never notice. It's almost as if it's invisible to all but a few. Many plants share similar leaf characteristics and the smell when flowering is different than burning so people are not sure what to think, unless they know. There's also that you're just standing there enjoying the sweet summer breeze and you suddenly catch a whiff. If you are not aware you might think someone left a case of Lowenbrow(sp?) on their porch with a lot of head left in the bottom. Some plants smell more than others too or differently.
 
If you're legal, don't worry. There's not a lot you can do. Having said that, I can smell mine a hundred feet away and they're not even blooming yet....

Depends on the strain/ I grew sativas last year and it didn't really smell until just before harvest, and only if I was right by it. First time with Indicas this year, if I put my nose by the plant it's skunky, but I won't know until it flowers. Legal here too with a big storage shed between my plants and the neighbors...plus we do have skunks that wander thru every now and then, so I'm not worried
 
Well yeah im not worried about anything really since its a legal grow, but I was just wondering. Sometimes I go into different neighborhoods and smell a ton of skunk and I can already tell someone nearby is growing. So I was just wondering how far the smell actually goes.
