Really appreciate this. When I weighed it all out, I was going to need to buy heatsinks from one place, stripper lights from a second, and drivers from a third. All of that with Canada's expensive shipping and it was cheaper to look at the existing kits. Everything shipping together will save money, and everything's going to take weeks to arrive anyway.
It boils down to your last paragraph - I've spent hours and hours learning about LED technology already. A month ago I was still measuring light in "watts" and the idea to run LED wasn't in the cards... fast forward through Blurple, then COB, and here I was... ready to go... buy some COBs and get going... so people start suggesting QUANTUM.
As the benefits stacked up: Cheaper, more efficient, smaller vertical footprint, add 12+ inches to the tent, less heat, etc. etc... I just decided to bite the bullet on one of these:
