How hard to produce female auto-flowering seeds..?

You will hear different ways of producing female seeds some more difficult than others also some are considered to be true female. Since you want the easiest way I can explain exactly how. What you want to do is take one of your best females and when she is ready to be harvested you want to stress her. The easiest method of stress is to manipulate the light schedule by turning the light on for 24 hrs for a couple of days then back to 12/12. You need to inspect regularly for male pollen sacs, once you find one, wait till it looks like it is going to split then pluck it and put it in a jar. You will use that pollen to pollinate a new female and she will produce female seeds.

only problem, auto flowers arent affected by photoperiod. U could try aspirin or gibberellisc acid or whatever its called.

My first round of autos, we were just learning what was what, ended up with a hermie in a group of 6 fems.....it was removed a little late as it did polinate a couple of fems....I got a bunch of seeds of course........out of that seed collection, I've had only 2 males out of about 25 plants.......somewhere I read that hermie pollination is more likely to produce fem seeds.........heck if I know....
With this being accidental, I just got lucky of course.....
Since then, I collect a male as its sacs burst with that fine powdery stuff....then select a bud or two on a fem to polinate, therefore somewhat controlling just how much pf my plant I give to procreation.

Yea Hermie Pollin will create mostly female seeds has to do with the larger chance for YY chromosomes, But The Plants are still hermies and could sprout pollen sacs. True Female seeds are made when u have a true female(A Female plant that will not turn hermie if stressed) You have to really hunt for a true female, then u have to use some kind of hormone I believe its called stamin it, don't know the name of the actual hormone. But u actually take ur true female spray with stamin it, the hormone causes the plant to turn male and grow pollen sacs. When u harvest those sacs and use them to breed with on another true female u will get true female seeds.

So let me get this right, I am also trying to produce auto seeds very soon. If I pollinate a female auto with an auto male pollen I will get mixed seeds from the female auto correct? If I get pollen from an female hermie it will produce mainly female seeds? If so how would I go about turning a female auto hermie with any hormone stuff?

if you want to turn a female to a herm just switch the lights on 24 hours for a couple days and back to 12/12 as someone else suggested in an earlier post.

I am talking about auto flowers, they are not affected by the light cycles being changed. This was also stated above, what other methods are there for stressing a female "auto flower" to produce pollen?

If you want auto flower feminized seeds you'll have to light stress a non auto flowering female plant and collect the pollin or use a chemical that will do it for you and use that on your auto flowering female

If you stress a plant to herm and use that pollen to pollinate the hermied female those seeds will not become feminized, they will have a greater tendency to become hermies themselfs, there are a few ways to make fem seeds and they use chemicals, google it

So whats the answer then..?????

The easest way is to give the autoflowering female a chemical to make its self hermi to pollinate its self to create ferminized seeds

Hey dudes .. little while ago i read something about a special silver spray that made female buds that had the chemical sprayed on turn into a hermie not through stress but by the liquid .. this is term produced pollen that was used to create female seeds .. the man did this by getting a jar full of distilled water. He then bought 2 pure silver coins, not much more than $10 he said .. anyway he connect a battery up with crocodile clips to the coins and he put them at one end on the water to another but only so the coins we in the water not the clips .. the electricity went through the coins taking fragments of the silver with it and ending up in the water, he left it on for like 6-8 hours ( not too long or it gets to cloudy ) and then put into a bottle and sprayed onto the part of the bud he wanted to herm to make female seeds .. apparently it works and is a very good method to use.
