how hot is too hot?

Its been getting around 95 where i live and my plants are only babies...will they be ok? they are in direct sunlight all day.
 
My plants for 10 days straight have been in

99F heat and 70-80% humidity. Doing great! Just make sure to water

My avg heat index is 110
 
After they are acclimated to outdoors and full sun, temps ain't no thang. We have days over 100 dg here, I just water them good and they grow like hell
 
I wouldn't say temperature doesn't matter. There is probably an expert opinion out there but I'll say this much other plant life is affected by high temps like tomatoes. Many stop growing, others drop flowers. So many "growers" who knows if you can find the expert opinion but I'd say look after your plants if they are in the full 95+ sun because it's a whole lot stronger in the sun. Notice the guy with 70-80% humidity and his plants are fine. The reason is little does he know it but it's basically raining outside. Bottom watering is best as has been mentioned. Shading for part of the day(just a few hours) could help.
 
I've burned mine misting outdoors. And really, if they are watered enough it's not necessary.

I do rinse them off after dusk once a week to knock off any bugs etc

yea i know its not necessary, iwas just saying i never burnt mine but i guess u could tho,does the water act like a magnify glass or sumthing?
 
Yeah i have burnt mine too that way, and as long as there are roots to pull in the water i dont see why you would need to waste time misting.
 
If these temps are fine, why do I always read people saying too much heat is no good? I've read numerous threads where it was stated that temps should be no higher than 80 and people go crazy with fans and exhaust and air intake.

i mist mine to clean leaves from dust and stuff,but when outside the breeze and clouds are enough to keep plant cool enough,ppl werent misting a hundred years ago so it is deffinately not necessary

outside is different than indoors u need fresh air inside and a breeze to strengthen stems,but no higher than 80 is BS
 
i live in a region that is very close to where indicas i believe was 1st originated, lebanon, morroco, north india, etc. literally same latitude. around 25 degrees north of the equator.

today is considered quite a pleasant day and it's 30c outside.
august is gonna be bad, last year was the hottest summer here to ever been recorded by weather ppl. it got to 40c at times last year around august.
plants did awesome!

im pretty sure that when talking about heat stress it mostly indicates indoor plants.

i mean, mother nature provided, she most probably won't kill.

just lots of water.

my plants could drink around a gallon per day, and get dry the day after.

just use lots of water, but not too much to soak the soil entirely. morning watering is also when my plants like to drink the most.
 
I tried to grow plants in the indoor, but it seems that plants are dying...even with proper temp, humid, water, light (daylight) and nutes, it just wont work for my two plants...i was fed up with that i just put em out in my patio let them deal with their Mother Nature....so one of plant immediately got wrinkled (heat stress) when its made direct sun....so i just put the wrinkle plants back into shade...it came unwrinkle and normal...its 100 temp that where i live....so for two days they looks better....i guess that kind of strains for outdoor , not indoor :)

and you never take it out of the shade? how's she doing?
