How did mail become the front runner for most important issues all the sudden when the government has not even dealt with ANYTHING to do with stimulus assistance..
It just boggles my mind that they talk about stimulus deals. Gas it up as oh soo important..
And then the next week pretend it never happened.. dont pass a single bill to deal with it.. and act like mail is now more important..

Democrats wrote and passed their version of the stimulus plan 2 1/2 months ago.

Republicans closed down the Congress until September because their Senate foot-dragged for months before releasing their first draft of a stimulus plan that wasn't a stimulus plan whatsoever. Democrats in the House tried to negotiate but Republicans balked and they went home for the summer recess..

Democrats are coming back for an emergency session to hold hearings on Trump's actions against safe voting in the fall.

If you live in a red state, please ask your Senator why he's gone fishing or golfing right now.

It became a front running issue when Trump decided to make it one to help his re-eelction chances by further suppressing votes during the time of a pandemic by having his rich buddy mess with the work product of our hard working postal workers and getting caught when one of those workers went to the news to warn the public.

The Democrats offered on Sunday that they might do a second bill just dealing with the Post Office, but it is already in the bill they passed out of the House to shore up our economy during the pandemic, that Mitch McConnell refused to allow the Senate to take up, because Trump and him think a scared sick America is good for the Republican party.

Congress passed a 3 trillion dollar package that extended the 600 dollar bonus unemployment benefits until next year three months ago.

Mitch McConnell will not allow the senate to vote on it.

Instead, he and Republicans want to kill the unemployment extension and get more bailouts for their rich buddies.

And that is why things are as they are.

Because you can't make a vast implementation of that magnitude overnight? if Trumpy* left the USPS alone, there would be no focus.

Since he already said he's going to cheat, shouldn't we believe him?

there are over 400 bills passed by The House sitting on McConnells desk which would make life better for Americans and they predate any stimulus.

even if they passed it mango maggot has to sign it..reading between the lines he knows senate has slim majority and it's in best interest to do this but let's say it's passed..toddler president still has to sign and he's a fvcking baby..his mind is $400, and he's not going to budge even at everyone else's peril.

not having the $600 weekly is really going to hurt everyone..it's 30M people.

I in no way support either side.. but I must say.. Mitch Mcconnell made it very clear back in may that that bill was a democratic wish list and dead on arrival.. they should have responded more then.. and got a more realistic bill done.. 3.4 trillion dollars is an unfathomable amount.. more than most countries even have at all..
My point was.. how can they not truely pass anything.. go from one side thinking 1 trillion.. 1 side thinking 3 trillion.. to ultimately agreeing that ZERO.. is the correcr answer.. stop talking about it.. and pretend that the mail is more important..
If people think mails more important theyre morons.. the mail handles EVERYONE sending ten xmas cards each.. every year..
And better yet.. if you are worried.. get out yer house and vote..
Stimulus is far more important than a 25billion dollar bill for mailmen to sift through paperwork..
Ppp to keep businesses afloat.. unemployment to keep unemployed from getting 50 bucks a week some places.. stimulus checks to keep our gdp from failing and keep businesses flowing w money.. lawsuit shields for businesses to defend against greedy people trying to scam w covid suits.. mail was a part of covid bills.. school and govt funding.. health funding.. hazard payments for many..

The media tries to paint it as urgent to bury their total failure on stimulus and lack of empathy in that aspect.. but otherwise.. they should all have their pay docked if anything..
If a company wants a building built.. and 2 architects are debating the houses design....1 house plan costs 1mill the other 300k... they dont just ultimately decide to not build the house and just go on to arguing about the shed out back..

How do you feel about these con artists in the post office making these workers jobs harder?

Also do you understand that Trump is also doing this during a pandemic to stop people from being able to not have to stand in a line for hours to vote in these unsafe conditions?

And what do you mean by 'the media', technically you are 'media' by even posting on a open forum.
