How is my tap water

I've got a ph of 9, my ec is .4 and ppm is 244 on the 0.7 setting, thanks everyone I'm a noob

It's very alkaline. You will definitely need to pH down before using.

unless your system is huge, either buy RO from a store or buy a RO unit. it makes growing in hydro so much easier if you know your water is not a problem.
as you get better at growing, slowly start using RO with your tap and see how it works.

Honestly it could be wonderful drinking water, but that alkalinity will cause you headaches. I would grab an RO filter.

Treat it like RO water, use cal mag and such.
