Just put my girl in the bucket about 3 days ago after germing in 5,5 ph-soaked rockwool under a vented plastic cup (around 27-28 celcius).


She has got her first set of leaves and what looks like the start of the second set but the first set looks kind of shriveled and the cotyledon leaves are fading in colour.


She is sticking about 5-6cm (2,5") over the rockwool with a small layer of leca pellets between the rockwool and the net pot.


Distance from plant to light is about 120cm (43") but I was planning on closing the distance with gradually but will wait till I get this issue sorted.


Tried keeping the ph pretty stable but it has varied some and I am a little afraid that I tinkered too much with the ph UP and DOWN.


I can't see roots going through the net pot yet but the bottom of the netpot is nice and wet from the bubbles around 2cm (1") below it.


Temperature - 23 - 28 celcius depending on outside temperature.


Nutes: ppm 207 (added a few drops of canna vega a+ b to stabilize ph)
ph has varied from 5.92 - 6,59


Setup:


12L bucket with airstone
600W HPS
Oscilating fan
squirrel fan connected to outside vent

Thanks for the reply I was stressing a little last night when I wrote this thinking I had done something stupid :)

I was a little worried she might be stretching but from what I have read so far at this early stage the 600w HPS is providing more than enough light and bringing it closer will just increase chances of heat stress.

Doesn't look like she's stretching enough to be concerned with. I'm about the exact opposite of setup as you so all I can really give you advice on is the look of the plant. Keep it up though

Am I not including enough information or pictures?

I was thinking it was Nitrogen def. but after adding nutes to my girls (400ppm) canna vega A+B the yellowing has only become worse and is showing in newer leaves.
