Patient much? I take them off as soon as they get a couple nodes - more than 1 set of leaves. It doesn't really matter than much just take them off when they get more than the 4 starting leaves..

feeling particularly lonely? just the luck of the draw and time of day, this is still the best site. anyway, to get you started - your plants will do fine without a humidity dome after a week or two from germination. once you've removed the dome, keep the cfl within a couple of inches of the plant. grow journals are pretty hit or miss - best i can suggest is to go to the grow journal forum and surf around for a good one.

Use a thermostat on your bulb or and your heat pad. Keep between 78 and 85 degrees. Soak seeds in water for 18 hours..I have read 24 hours but I have had husk fall off after doing it that long. The flip side to that is when the husk refuses to come off..or sometimes the stem keeps growing but what should be the leaves stays a little white ball. That is because there is a clear membrane under the seed you have to remove...it helps to have a 5-10X led magnifying lens.

sounds like you are suffering from dampening off hold back on watering and remove dome if you can either stake it or apply another layer of medium to keep it up

I feel your pain... I just went through a 10 pack of seeds... on my last two, one hasn't cracked, and the other is still attempting to sprout. Good luck on the next batch...
