How long after I cut before I can smoke

I just harvested & hung em up to dry, they been drying for about 24-hours exactly now. I was wondering, I know it takes generally a week (hanging them) but do you think I could grind up a little nugg today & smoke it?

generally wait until the stems snap (rather than bend). you should def take a little piece and dry it maybe in the toaster real quick for a sample.
if you dry it 1-2 weeks then cure it in jars/ziplocks for 2-4 weeks, it will be smooth and burn evenly.

what if ur smoking in a vape?

put it under a light bulb to dry it faster, but make sure it doesn't get too hot, and dice it like fresh oregano before you do, stirring occasionally, you can do it in about 20 min minimum, but the longer you dry it the better it will end up, because quick drying always vaporizes a bit of your weed, there are lots of ways, just google it, but my favorite is to put a couple grams of buds and put it under your couch or something near a heat vent overnight, so that it dries in like 8 or 10 hours, again the slower the better, in the end your better off just waiting, no point getting a tolerance for the strain before the real harvest is dry...

when you wanna smoke you wanna smoke i definitely understand that. So for me when I dont have anything after the one week drying I smoke and it gets me ripped. but it is best after 2 weeks cure min. but i say if it gets ya high let it fly!!

mind if i ask a ?? i think i put my bud in the jars a little to moist,, can i pull the bud back out and dry it more? should i ? or just burp it more?

i'd leave it out the jar for a couple hours a day then put it back in and close em up. repeat til it's as dry as you are looking for.
Theirs not much worse than losing your weed to bud rot
