How long before it REALLY hit you

How long did it take you after getting your card before it REALLY hit you that what your doing is perfectly legal, I mean before it REALLY hit you 100% through and through, We have been raised for so many years to beleive marijuana illegal and for me it took 2 months before it finally hit me that MJ is legal for me...I mean, I knew it was legal once I got my cards but I still had something lingering in the back of my mind telling myself that 'hey be carefull this stuff is illegal' , I have been to amsterdam numerous times and still it never hit me even in amsterdam as I smoked in the streets if I saw a cop I would cup it instinctivly.....

So how long before it really hit you? Am I alone on this? I feel like this instinct has pretty much 100% left me for good but I think part of it could always be there with me deep in the back of my mind, mental scars of prohibition lol, should we seek therapy for this? haha

is the feds reminding you of their antiquated
"drug" laws.
It took me all of the 20 day wait after the check was cashed.
My thoughts were more of the 25 years worth of money i spent
on weed, er...meds.

im still tryin to drop the paranoia.

also, dont feel too legal yet cuz for four more months, till you get the physical card to put in your wallet, you will most likely be arrested for possesion, use, cultivation. the charges will not hold up in court if you have paperwork but you will be going to jail for the weekend or whatever till they verify you through mmmp.

Me and weed have been married for more than 25 years. Never had any run ins with LE in all that time.
Interested to know why being legal now would be any different?

concider yourself lucky and very smart. i have had run ins with leo many times and a few of those times they found my stash. i went to jail for 30 days cuz of possesion. i too have bbeen with maryjane for a long time...about 11 years. now being legal, when im driving with a bowl in my pocket or a quarter of stinky bud i dont have to panik when i see a cop. being in my house, smoking a J, i dont have to worry about the neighbors smelling it and calling the cops (which actually happened once). its just a good feeling. aso probo are you in a mmj state?

It has kinda hit me but probly gonna be awhile since I will have to wait at least 4 months to get my card and probly wont sink in till then
