how long can i keep juvenile plants prior to..

Hey,, sorry for the noob question. .

Is it ok to keep juvenile plants small (under low wattage light, etc.) for periods of time before cranking them under hid's.

I'll be cloning for the first time, and I don't have two full-on grow rooms yet...so my plants will need to finish bud before I canbring the clones into that room under 18/6..

advise please.

Clones use very little light compared to a plant with roots and branches. A 4 pack of 23 watt CFL's and corded sockets is really cheap and can be hung by the cords over the clones. All the light a rooting clone will need for the first 2 weeks, longer if it is a slow rooting strain.

u can veg a plant for up 12 years
