So my plants aren't maturing as quickly as I had hoped they would and I will be going out of town for 10 days in a couple of weeks. If I can harvest by Wednesday then I should be able to get 2 weeks of curing in before I leave, but honestly I think they could go until the 1st or 2nd of this next month. If they go that long then I will not have adequate time to cure(leaving the 13th).
I had read on THCfarmer forum about people harvesting the whole plant and letting it hang at ~70° and 50%RH for weeks to months at a time. Some even say it can hang in these conditions for a year.
Because of this I'm thinking I should wait to harvest, uproot the plant, and hang whole until I get back(approximately 3 weeks). Will this be ok? Any tips to keeping my environment at the right RH?
